The Austro-Hungarian painter Oscar Rex (1857-1929) created a set of about thirty paintings shortly before 1900 on the most important episodes in Napoleon's career. The Château de Malmaison holds several of these in its collections.
This event has been approved by the scientific committee of the European Federation of Napoleonic Cities as part of the commemoration of the 2021 bicentenary. More info here.
