July 30 & August 1, 2021 - Fort Bard, Italy.
The performance proposes the evocation of the famous passage of Napoleon Bonaparte with his troops in 1800 during the Second Italian Campaign. The French Reserve Army coming from the Great St. Bernard invaded the Aosta Valley laying siege to the Fort of Bard which after two weeks abdicated but with the honour of arms.
The historical episode will be brought to life through the staging of military life and reconstructions of the atmosphere of the time. Two days full of initiatives that will offer the public an exciting and immersive experience. Men and women dressed according to the fashion of the time, workshops, an exhibition, a market and a conference, everything will bring the early 19th century to life.
